In a letter to a local paper, the Mansfield News Journal, Bud Chamberlain opines on why if one "really wants a good President" one should vote for McCain.

A law suit filed by former shareholders of former Russian oil giant Yukos is making its way through the European Union's court system.

Shareholders argue that the Russian Federation violated a major international energy pact - the Energy Charter Treaty (ECT) by buying bankrupt forcefully bankrupting and acquiring Yukos and failing to compensate shareholders.

If what Maliki claims is true, would that not be more than solid grounds to impeach and swiftly remove the POTUS?

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

The source, Hoshyar Zebar, claims that Obama tried to undercut the current POTUS in the hopes that Obama could dictate the Iraq policy if elected POTUS.

In light of the New Surge of US troops being deployed to Afghanistan to finish the mission and what appears to be a long term presence in Iraq. The US military actions in Afghanistan and Iraq have some similarities to past military blunders and miscalculations.
